Skills are now a basic necessity. This means greater opportunities than ever, particularly for the unemployed and non-employed looking to enter or re-enter the workforce.

And vocational education and training is the practical answer to addressing the skills gap.

The skills required for most jobs are rising, and existing skills can quickly become outdated as technology changes.

In fact, it is estimated that individuals need to up-skill or re-skill 5-10 times during their working lives, and the willingness to adapt and learn will always prove an advantage in a demand-led market. Naturally, the benefits of this are greater earning capacity and improved standards of living.
