Who We Are

Xtra MediA is a Vocational Training Centre specialising in IT Skills and was established in 2006 as a Software Development Company with its centre Lilongwe, Malawi.

Having delivered as ICT consultants for many years, we seek to understand the Industrial IT skills agenda and drive positive change wherever possible.

As an independent IT body we use research to promote good practice, inform and influence intelligent policy. We are working with businesses to build strong networks, share knowledge and promote vocational skills.

We are an advisory and consultancy facility, with true industrial ICT experience working on projects that create and promote examples of good practice.

Our ICT Training Centre was set up having established that there was a clear need in the market; in Malawi no other organisation fulfils the role we have defined for ourselves.

This initiative will also allow Xtra MediA to further fulfil its charitable purpose and to support positive change within Malawi in ICT development.

Our aim is to make a significant impact on ICT in Malawi by bringing businesses online and equipping individuals with modern ICT Skills.
